This is one of my favorite baseline actions Billy Donovan ran at Florida. I like it because it gets the ball back in the hands of the PG, who is typically best ball handler, for the side pick & roll. The stagger for 4 lifts X4 out of the picture and makes rotations to a rolling/popping 5 much harder (especially if you have a shooting 4). It also occupies X2 and X3.
If prefer your 1 to have more space in the lane, space 2 and 3 and drop 4 to the baseline.
