This is a drill I put in this Summer during our workouts to improve our lateral and rotational agility. You can start with a coach having the ball or having the defensive player (1) pass to the coach before closing out.
On the closeout, the coach takes 1 dribble down to start the corner slide. Player touches the corner with their foot and then sprints to the middle (help). On the pass, the player closes out to a Live 1-on-1 situation.
Offense only gets 2 dribbles. Make or miss, offensive player gets rebound and moves to defensive line and defender moves to line on the wing.
