This weekend while listening to Middle Tennessee State head coach Kermit Davis speak at the PGC Basketball Clinic in Atlanta, this early offense pick and roll play came to me while he was talking about some of their pre-practice drills.
This play is simple flow action that ends with a spread pick and roll with multiple options for the point guard.
- Paint attack | Mid-range jumper for 1
- Hit 5 on the roll
- Throwback to 2 for a shot | OR 2 can post feed to 5 ducking in
- Kick to 3 or 4 for shot
