When playing good defensive teams, it can require simultaneous actions to occupy the help and open up more scoring opportunities. The play below gives you several scoring plays to counter any defensive rotations.
1. Screening 4 into the pick & roll with 2 can cause X4 to be late and give 2 a mid-range jumper.
2. If X4 and X2 to caught guarding 2, 4 will be open on the pop/roll as the rest of the help defense is occupied in the weak side screening action.
3. If the defense falls sleep or focuses more on the side pick & roll 3 may be open for the lob.
