Last night as I watched the Thunder – Timberwolves game, one thing really stood out in my mind. It is amazing how well NBA players execute offensively. They will run the simplest pin down action and get either an open shot of a slip to the rim. Why?? Because they actually set screens (most of the time). I think the ability to make contact on a great screen is becoming a lost art just as the mid-range jumper has in youth basketball. Coaches…don’t cheat your players and make sure you are teaching them the correct way to set screens and make legal contact.
